Ok, I am still on cloud nine so those around me are going to get a bit sick of me pointing out that I won a Judge's Choice award at this years World Fantasy Convention. The convention gathers together best selling authors and editors with outstanding illustrators and artist for a fun networking weekend. A special prestigious awards ceremony for authors of fantasy fiction is the heart of this convention and the convention attracts the best of the best with authors like Mike Resnick, David Drake and Joe Haldeman to mention just a few. The artist guest of honor was Darell K. Sweet, renowned illustrator of book covers with over 40 years of experience. His astounding work, "The Wizard" won best of show. One glance revealed to any observer why this piece deserved to win. I was so happy to be included in this fantastic show of such talented artist.
